Hi all

Hopefully you can help with this one. I have only been doing this for 5 years and havent come across this before. Customer called to say she is getting blue plastic like specs coming through every hot tap when she calls for hot water, there is no effect on the temperature. She has run the tap twice for 30 minutes each time. Can it be the heat exchanger?

sure its not blue service pipe from recent work on the mains in the area

Could be little bits breaking of the flow restrictor that sit above the flow switch (think thats blue).
