worcester 280

i have a worcester 280 rsf, the hot water is fine no problems.
when i select the c/h it goes through the motions fires up ok but after about 10 - 20 seconds it cuts out, after about 3 mins tries again but does the same thing.
anybody have any ideas

could be the internal diverter valve not motoring to heating,you shold be able to see it move.
