Hi all, I have a Worcester 28cdi (old type) which has developed a humming noise. I have uploaded a youtube video of it here
I had a local engineer look at it today. He said he thought it was probably the pump and could change it but if it turned out not to be that, I would still have to pay for the pump plus whatever else it turned out to be. I'm not confident he knows what the fault is and i'm planning to book another engineer on monday.
Could I get some of your thoughts on what the fault could be so I have an idea what the next engineer should be telling me? I've looked at worcester fixed price repair but thats £300+ and I would struggle to find that right now
