HI,
Please could someone clerify just when a thermostat should work?

i have a drayton timer and seperate stat.

At the moment , if my timer is set to OFF and i turn up the thermostat, this then calls for heat and heats the rads.

where'as before my new boiler was installed, when the time was set to off ,then the stat didnt work either !

so am i right in thinking, that if the timer is OFF,then the stat should be dormant aswell?

so at the moment, the stat can over ride the timer when set to off !

thanks

Thats how a frost stat should work.

But for a normal room stat its wired wrong.

Obviously you employed cowboys who did not bother to check that the system was working properly.

I suppose you paid them with cash and no receipt???

the timer works fine, just this stat is issue..... you reckon its a straight forward job to put right? prob just wired to wrong block/connector.
