Worcester bosch 280 new owner

Hi,

I just bought a house that has one of the Worcester bosch 280 boilers fitted. I was hoping someone am liar with this model could provide me a little information.

T seams o ake a long me or hot water o get hot and it wastes a lot of water. Can anyone tell me after it has seen demand by turning on a tap if I urn it off should it cycle to bring it to temperature or will it imediately sht off.

boiler from cold should give hot water in around 20 to 30 seconds depending on the length of pipes between boiler and tap.

Turn a tap off and the boiler should cut the gas within a second or two, but could carry on pumping for a minute or more to disperse excess heat.

A 280 is no spring chicken though.


Now, my heads hurts... I am going to build a train set for the little dude and annoy JohnD ;).

Somthing may no be right then it is a lot longer than 30 seconds to get how wet. More like a couple of minutes.
