I have an external flow that is dripping and I believe it is the PRV, it seems quite rare to have a 6 Bar one, in fact the only place I can get a W.B. is on their site for 3 times the price of the usual 3 Bar. Would it be Ok to replace it with the 3 Bar. I have an old Greenstar 30CDI

Would this be a 6 bar PRV within the boiler casing or one adjacent to an unvented cylinder in the airing cupboard?

Ok so it's got nothing to do with the Greenstar CDi boiler....

You need to get a G3 licenced plumber to sort out your unvented cylinder. As well as ther safety valve the expansion vessels probably flat/failed and given the rough installation don't be surprised if there's a few other things that need sorting out regards compliance with the regs.

Yes you're not wrong, i have already ordered a Drayton ZA5 and an Zilmet 18L EV.
