Hi,

I have a 5 bed property split into 3 zones (2 upstairs and 1 downstairs).
2 bathrooms upstairs and 1 downstairs.

Which boiler should I get.
I am currently thinking of going for either
- Worcester Bosch Highflow 440CDi or the
- Valliant ecotec plus 937

I want to choose one which is very reliable and maintainable etc

Anyone care to comment on either boilers.

Cheers

From our practical experience with a significant number of both models in the field, the Highflow 440 is more reliable. Some installers (ourselves included) are getting a 7 yr warranty on this Bosch model right now.

The 937 is not a bad product but some parts eg: shift load pump can be problemmatic and difficult to get to. Smaller footprint on the wall though.

NB: My post does not address the suitability of either product for your application.

Anyone care to address the suitability as well?
Do you have a combi type boiler at the moment or a separate HW tank?

How many bathrooms could be in use at the same time?

Do you know what the incoming cold water flow rate and pressure is?

Neither. With a house that large, you need a boiler and hot water cylinder, not a combi. In any case, the Vaillant 937 has suffered software issues and the Worcester...well, it's a Worcester, so it'll be a pain in the a$$ to maintain
