Does anyone know if its possible to see more of the boilers control screen information via wifi. For example can i check the water pressure in the central heating via an app rather than having to be at the boiler? The boiler has a hive thermostat connected via wifi (no paid subscription for the fancy gas saving monitoring). Maybe there are other thermostats that can show tjis info via wifi/app for the 4000?

Any indications are appreciated.

If you don't mind a DIY approach, you could have a look at EMS Bus Gateway...

It's a project that allows home automation systems such as Home Assistant, or OpenHab, to interface with your boiler and monitor certain parameters, via serial comminications on the EMS Bus.

If your browser supports translation (or you speak German!), there is plenty of information available about the EMS protocol and its supported parameters on the EMS wiki...

I’ve just read the first paragraph of the Wikipedia ems bus gateway and mentions Bosch boilers in the last 20 years, WorcesterBosch are part of these.

I have just had a greenstar 4000 installed and it integrates perfectly with this ems gateway. It is a simple 2 wire install on the boiler and you can then control everything.

Using home assistant automations I have built full weather compensation, hot water priority and a radiator boost without needing any changes to the wiring of the boiler beyond the low voltage ems connection.
