I have the same symptoms as everyone else in this old thread except for one thing. The pipe outside is not frozen. However, I also have the problem of a blocked bathroom sink upstairs. I tried to clear it but the flexi rod I have is not long and has now pushed the blockage along to the drain pipe outside.
Downstairs these 2 pipes join up and eventually drain into the toilet stack. All the joints are glued and there are no inspection points. Could the blockage cause the boiler problem and what is the best way to clear the blockage.

Yes it could and you need a plumber if you cant unblock the waste pipe.
