I am having problems with some of the rads on this system. They are not full of air as I've bled them, but they remain cold even when others are red hot. The pressure appears fine (over 1bar), but despite everything I've tried the certain rads remain cold.

The strange thing is, that when i turned off the lounge radiator, the kitchen one heated up, but now it's gone off again. There are two radiators in the bathroom, one is hot and one not.

This system seems to self pressurise (my old house had a combi, and I could manually repressurise the system) but this has a braided hose between the two pipes with a non-return valve on it.

I tried to download a manual, but the link didn't work. Any ideas please?

If its self pressurising then check that the valve on the flexible is not leaking.

Remove one end and see if water drips out.

Your radiators need balancing, see FAQ on this site.

I would suggest get the 'self pressurisation" item removed as this might be the ultimate cause of your problem.

If there is a leak, long term topping up of system with fresh water is akin to leaving your car, without paint, out in the rain. It will fall to bits in no time at all
