working out what size radiators needed?

Hi, I have a 3 bedroom semi deratched house, the back faces dead south and the front points straight north, I need to put some radiator some room and replace others, is there a general rule I can work too so its not to hot or cold and I get the BTU right for each radiator in each room?

Thank you for that, only problem is I only have access to a works computer that will not allow me to install 3rd party software, is there another place I can access this information?

This was the first thing I did, however all the sites I found were from America which just made me think the climate is different to ours and the values would be different to ours.
