Hi All, I have just had a U-shaped kitchen installed (by brother in law). He has measured 1 side of worktop with sink to accomodate under worktop dishwasher and W/M. DW is slimline hence 450mm wide. He considered only 400MM. These are wickes £58 gloss laminate but he created the usual high quality join to the base of the U top(which has a hob in it). How easy is it to break the join of the two worktops ??? and note these have upstands all glued about a week ago. I feel a bit sick considering the kitchen looks incredible. Please advise. Thank you (he's on holiday at mo)

Sounds like you are looking at a new top, you may be able to lower units below and adjust but i don't know the layout.
