Apologies if it has been covered, I did sift through the countless Hive related posts but…..

I have an open vented heat only conventional boiler controlled by a room thermostat for the heating and a separate clock controller for the hot water.

I want to leave the water system as is and just replace the existing room thermostat for the heating.

Can I get the single channel version of the Hive Mini or do I need the dual version, conscious that I won’t be using the hot water functionality?

Current receiver is a Honeywell BDR91 and is wired according to the attached photo. What needs to go where on the Hive?

Yes, if you’re only replacing the thermostat, then a single channel is all you need.

Thanks, any idea on the wiring?
Yes, similar to the BDR91. So you transfer as follows from BDR to Hive (tidying the wires so no copper is exposed):

L to L
N to N
Reuse link from L to Common
Grey wire (B) to Heating on (NO - terminal 3)
