Hi,
For my new extension I need to lay 75mm of insulation on top of visqueen which is on top of 100mm concrete. It must not exceed a u-value of 0.22. I have the opportunity of some 75mm xtratherm thin RXT/PR at a very reasonable price and it meets the required spec but I have just learned that the PR stands for Pitched Roof.
I've checked the xtratherm website and the spec of the thin RXT/PR and thin RXT/UF (Under Floor) is identical other than the UF claims to have a higher composite strength....
Do you think I can use the PR for my underfloor given that it will be going under a 75mm screed and its going to save me quite a few quid!?
