Year old plasterboard

Hi,
I put up the plasterboard for a new ceiling (fireboard) last year, and couldn’t get the plaster to skim it at the time. Now I’ve got to it, it’s been up a year - I this ok to skim as normal, or do I need to put some bondit or pregrit over it?

It should be good to skim as is.
