You're a fellow human in personal stress?

Claim would be no win no fee. AI has set up a perfect intro letter from the deets I can remember. I can just leave them to it.

I'm getting used to the idea that she's gone, but the emotion waves still come and remove the ground from beneath the feet, and fill the face with snot. How is this evolutionarily useful?. What a stupid design we are.

I'm still having trouble with antibiotics for my arm too. Currently skin is sloughing off here and there. I have half my right arm, and just lost the other right arm.

I'm getting the ducks in a row for the admin processes which happen when someone dies. But to reduce stress and put things off I'm going for a Direct Cremation. No people present. You can have ashes in a box as something to look at. Most people are saying fine, carvery in the back of a pub later to get together. Not so weird - jews have to bury fast, and have a bash later.
But my bash would be as few as poss without upsetting people. She had lots of nephs and nieces who never made contact, all wanting a free meal I think. Ugh.
Trouble is, everyone wants to come. She was very active in societies and whatnot, winnig awards etc, so there are hundreds of mostly old women, I've never met.

Thinking of a Just Giving page for the cats protection people - she loved cats so why not? She was an academic, but they're all loaded.

Cats and other animals, Life boats, Air ambulance - all have loadsa Monee.

Today registered the death, which was simple, and appointed the undertaker to get the body from the hospital and take it to the crematorium. That'll be at their convenience., no other people involved. Cost is about £1100, box for the ashes in case someone wants them is £80. I'll keep them for a while - something to stare at.
Get a few certified copies of the death cert in case eg banks who need them, keep them for a while.
It helps if you can find the birth and marriage certificates, for eg place of birth.
Then theres a "tell us once " form you can fill in (online too I think) so all the authorities know.
Next is Probate or Letters of Administration if there's no will. Again, online.

This is simple in my case. I'm told that where it's getting complicated now in the case of there being no will, an illegitimate father can come out of the woodwork, because under intestacy rules, he's due to inherit.
There are nine banks or cards, blimey.
Imagine, the "parents" have to face not being parents to a deceased wealthy child, and they feel awful.

Every time I tell someone about it, it gets easier.

Sorry for your loss Justin.

Regarding a claim, check your home insurance - if you have legal expenses cover you may be able to make a claim. However, take care of yourself for now and don’t rush into anything.
They have raised that as a query. I have no idea!

so sorry. forget about trading now.
Actually it's complex. There's less coming in, I can't dump money in her new ISA every year, and what's in them will be subject to tax on interest or gains. Her small SIPPs will have to be sold. Our big lump will only have to supply one person now, but it needs to be trundling along at over inflation.
I have found that trading, some days are predictably, (not necessariy by me) very high probablility. The % on those can be large, so I'll stick to them. Something like an agreement between Trump and someone aggrieved, like China. could be a 5% jump. Leveraged that's 25%. You only need a few of those per year

So very sorry to hear about your wife and sorry to hear about your serious health issues

This was from an ECG done at the GPs, September 26th.

Note the stuff about infarcts = dead/damaged heart muscle. They didn't believe it.
No treatment or further useful tests like an echo ultrasound or cardiogram.. They sent her home, to arrange a holter monitor - a thing you wear for a few days while it records rhythms etc.
.
16 days later:
damage done

Stents etc, same day.
6 days later, dead.

Our NHS is in shocking order. Its not the lack of money but the lack of care compassion and professionalism.

My heart goes out to you.

Our NHS is in shocking order. It’s not the lack of money but the lack of …………. professionalism.
Mrs Mottie has had enough and leaves tomorrow after 12 years. Only yesterday she had to correct a letter before it went out that was transcribed by AI (that they are trying to replace audio typist with) that said 'malignant'. It missed the word 'not' before that! That would have been a shocking letter to receive. They are now hiring 'proof readers' instead of trained typists because they are a lower grade and cost less. She reckons the standard of letters that go out are disgraceful and in the real world, it would just not be acceptable.

My deepest sympathies to Justin.

I was sent a random text advising me to take a flue Jab, while still having treatment for Lymphoma (silly me didn't question it.).

This resulted in Pneumonia. PAH then gave me a drug to treat the Pneumonia. 2 week hospital stay.
My body had a reaction to this drug that ultimately caused my liver to fail.

Now I forgive for that. How would they know my body would reacting the way it did, ti said drug.

However while being treated for Jaundice someone tried to give me thst exact same drug again.

My specialist at the Royal Free said that this drug would possibly kill me if ever I took it again.

The NHS is killing people because they are too scared to address the real reasons why the NHS is failing.

Sorry about your loss Justin.
Keep strong and come on the forum for some useless chit chat about screws and bolts so to give your mind a rest.
