Hi,
After a big flood in our private water supply stream the tap water was running very dirty.
The washing machine stopped taking in water and I found there was no filter in the end of the inlet hose.
I suspect that the inlet block (thingy!) in the machine may be blocked with dirt. Can I blow it out or is it a replacement item?. Can't quite see how to release it yet, there must be a clip affair?.
Any advice welcome.

make sure power is off

take the lid off
look down at the valve , undo wiring & pipes to the detergent draw
there is usually a small plastic pin on the valve which slots in a hole on the cabinet, push that pin inwards whilst trying to turn, you'll see what i mean
will then fall out

Thanks, there is a square white nylon clip round the thread, still trying to suss it out!.
Looks like a replacement valve is needed, I can't flush or blow through it as the solenoids are shut. Pricey, cheapest i found is £22.
