Zanussi DE4554 Dishwasher - no hot water

My dishwasher is not heating up the water, I noticed that there is a thermostat and heating element potentially at fault.

Does anyone know how I would be able to diagnose the fault and determine which part I will need to replace?

Hi.. do you have a multimeter, if so check thermostat and heating element for open circuit
