Hello, I need help with my Zanussi Jetsystem 1250 FJS 1397. It takes water in but, on all cycles, it tumbles slow, it never empties the water, it finishes the cycle leaving my clothes damp and the drum full of water. I ran a cycle with no water in the drum, and it tumbled fast and completed the cycle however, when I ran the same wash cycle but, chose to start it at the beginning with water coming into the drum, it never tumbled fast enough at the end of the cycle and it never emptied the water. I checked the water pump that empties the water out of the drum and it felt warm to my fingers. Any ideas would be appreciated

pump warm implies its not moving take it off and look for a pen, screw, hairgrip, bra wire etc

Thanks for the tip Breezer, I had to tilt the machine to the side to avoid disconnecting the water hoses, that gave me access to the bottom of the washing machine where I loosened 3 screws holding the drain pump see picture:http://www.espares.co.uk/part/zanussi/fjs1397w/p/0/332/0/406128/217286/drain-pump-assembly.html?nl=fjs1397,
Some water splashed on the floor even though I had emptied the water from the front filter door, along with the water came out a piece of plastic as long as a tooth pick and thicker, it must have a been a part of a toy that my daughters must've had in their pockets. After I put all together again, I ran an empty wash cycle to freshen up the drum with clean water and voila it emptied the water. My wife is happy, and it saved us a few quids going to the local laundry shop and calling a repair man. Thanks again
