hi,my friend has a 10yr old zanussi tumble dryer,its the type with a pull out tray rather than a pipe to vent the condensation out,he's had an engineer out who's quoted £28 + vat for a new belt and thermostat + £50 labour,my mate said i can have the drier for nothing if i collect it.is it worth me fixing it and is it an easy job for me to do,i am mechanically minded and practical.
