Hi,
I have four bookcases made from what looks like plastic coated wood to paint - quality!
The surfaces are very smooth and I'll need a good undercoat to stick to them. I am about to buy some Zinsser Allcoat for painting freshly plastered walls and from its write up it would suggest it would be suitable for the bookcases. Does anyone know if this would do the job or should I buy a tin of their Coverstain instead.
Grateful for any advice.
Thanks,
Becka

You have choosen a very good product for your task, Zinnser Bullseye 123 and Bin also have excellent adhesion qualites. Dulux super grip primer is another good one.

It is always advisable in these types of situations to do a small test area first, this well greatly assist you with regard to best product for the job.
