Honestly, you sound like a sneery, snotty nosed know it all who could do with taking down a notch or two. Meant in the nicest possible way. But I am leaving this thread as I can't be assed to listen to any more of it (y)

I took it as a compliment

But I was being serious. I would really like to see this man have a proper interview. There is one on HardTalk I have found, but it is no longer available.

Not splitting hairs at all. What and who are the Palestinians? Where did they come from? What is their history?
The Phoenicians, as i understand it, who colonised the Levant and spread around the Med. during the Bronze Age. Whether they have a more substantive claim to Israel depends on who conquered whom and when. Archaeology can provide clues but few definitive answers to satisfy Zionist propaganda so the argument will go on...we have to rely on Biblical text for further clues but as i said, Jewish sources wrote what they liked to suit them and omitted anything they didn't like. The Old Testament God is a jealous God.

the religious context is what makes Bethlehem such an important site to the Jews. All wars tend to be formed through religion in some way or another.

I was referring to Exodus 34:14 - "You shall not bow down to them or worship them, for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generation, of those who hate me".

The Old Testament is full of such commands to the Jews out of Egypt who brought a new militancy towards other faiths - it was then the tribes of Judah and Benjamin became zealots in the cause of Jehovah to rid their Promised Land of all who opposed them. Intolerant of any other God but their own. The Philistines were cast out and their Gods, Baal and Dagon, were demonised, although early Christians took elements of their philosophy into new texts, notably the Sermon on the Mount.
Calling someone a 'philistine' has the same connotation as calling them a 'pagan', both terms used by Jewish and Roman respectively to castigate a conquered people in Judea and Brittania...what does that all have to do with Zion and the art of Armageddon?
Nothing. And everything. Those derogatory terms and Bibilical injunctions remain in use today by Zionists who promote their version of the old Testament through total control of media discourse which affects the way people perceive how Israel has a "right to exist". This right is God-given, according to their religious laws, so no opposition is given credence and cannot be sustained in the face of relentless propaganda. Their injunction extends beyond the third and fourth generation as the sins of Philistine fathers is passed on to Palestinian sons.

Why stop now when Netanyahoo is clearly enjoying himself...

AP reports that Israel launched airstrikes across the Gaza Strip early Today, killing at least 254 Palestinians, including women and children, according to hospital officials. The surprise bombardment shattered a ceasefire in place since January and threatened to fully reignite the 17-month-old war; although Al Jazeera says at least 342 Palestinians have been killed as Israel launched a massive assault on Gaza, shattering the fragile two-month-old ceasefire with Hamas. Reporting from Amman, Al Jazeera’s Hamdah Salhut said that while Israel has accused Hamas of rejecting various proposals made by negotiators, talks had been stalled after Netanyahu refused to begin negotiations on phase two of the ceasefire deal on February 6.

Gosh, that’s so wrong in so many ways it’s hard to know where to start.

Don’t think I shall bother given that Highway Nan is just trolling.
Never trust a man who claims to be an expert in the history of a country who's name he can't spell correctly.

The bible was written by Jews, its their story and as such they can portray themselves as heroes or victims if they choose.
It has been described as the greatest story ever told.
Christianity is Judaism for gentiles.

There's no point in only extinguishing half of the fire that's burning your home down.
It needs snuffing out, completely.

What I found interesting, is that Jesus has an important role as a prophet in the Islamic scriptures.

Whereas in Judaism, he is seen just as a normal man.
