Palestine has never existed as a Country or State.....Palestine is an Administrative Name given to the Holy Land after the fall of the Ottoman Empire who called the Holy Land Arazi-i Muqaddas (Turkish for Holy Land) and one Region called Jund Filastin (Turkish for Military District of Filastin, with Filastin being the Geographical Name used by the Romans and Byzantines Before the Islamic Conquests and Colonisations) The Romans, more accurately the Roman Emperor Hadrian, (he of Hadrian's Wall fame in Britain) renamed the Area which at the time had been called Judea and Samaria to Syria Palaestina to cut the Jewish link to the area and at the same time Insult the Jews with the name Palaestina a Latin form of Philistia, the Land of the Ancient Philistines, who were people of an Ancient Greek Origin that were an Archenemy, a Nemesis of the Jews.
So, at no point has there ever been a Country or a State by the name of Palestine, those people referred to as Palestinians by the British Mandate were both Arab Muslims and Jews and during that time under the British Mandate there were Palestinian Airways (founded by Jews), the Palestine Football Team (who were all Jews), the Palestine Electric Corporation PEC (founded by Pinhas Rutenburg a Russian Jewish Zionist), the Anglo Palestine Bank (formed by the Zionist Jewish Colonial Trust), Palestine Potash Limited PPL (formed by Russian Jews), The Palestine Post (a Zionist Newspaper later renamed the Jerusalem Post), Palestine Airways (founded by Pinhas Rutenburg and Histadrut a Jewish Trade Union), Palestine Economic Corporation PEC (founded by American Jews), Palestine Land Development Company PLDC (Founded by the World Zionist Organisation) incidentally, the PLDC systematically Purchased and Developed Land throughout the region. Which shows just how much Time, Skill and Money the Jews Invested into "Palestine".
