I have seen similar problems to this elsewhere in the forum but just want to explain my specific problems with this washer. Firstly, the wash cycle starts but the drum only drives in one direction. I can hear the relay changing over to reverse the drum but it does not drive until the relay has switched over again. This continues for about 5 minutes after which it stops and the start light goes out. There is no spin either but the drain pump is working. I am going to have a look in it tonight to see if there is anything obvious but if it is going to mean a new control board etc then I will probably replace the machine as it gets some serious use. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
