Whirlpool dishwasher light flashs 4 times

i hope this is in the right place i have a whirlpool adp4501 and my son accidently opend the door during a cycle and now we have the light flashing 4 times what can i do to corect this and how do you reset it i heard you can reboot it or reset it
all help will be greatly received thanks
