Any large corporation will send over spares via certain service more then likely with vaillant due to huge amount of spares it would probably be 40ft container,now it is difficult to jump through hoops just for one band such as yourself Tony.
yeh but thats just because they get through so many. I imagine that they're being used as quick as they're making them! At one point they were employing BG to carry out their warranty work as they couldn't cope with the volume of failures.
I got the company details via Vaillant's 'find an installer' search. Presumably, they are specialist. If not, how do I find one??
The company in question are C N Plumbing. I have been more than patient and polite with them. They didn't turn up today, made no attempt to explain why and I can't get through to anyone. That was their last chance. I left a message telling them that I don't want to deal with them anymore. There has been little communication from them the past 2 weeks, so don't feel sorry for them. I can understand if there's a problem, but if they don't tell me/fob me off with excuses it gets tiresome.
Result! It seems that the boiler has dried itself out in the past 2 weeks and is now running!! The new engineer is now just giving it a service (which we needed anyway).
