Then why post links that are false to your accusations.

Oh dear there is a pattern here.

What is it the kids all take to show they have the symptoms of asthma - seen as that's another the doctors love dishing out medication for.
Me?, i say it's because they're lazy bstds and need to excercise more, that'll stop them wheezing when queuing for a burger.

Joe... Belligerent. :D

Joe... talks from the hip. :D

Joe... told me to get a numberplate with vvank3r.

NigeF and Joe90 are whats great about this site, albeit Joe has an issue with plumbers.

It was on the news this morning that operations are being cancelled due to lack of funds - yet they are giving 80 year olds cancer drugs costing £60,000 per year??? Mental. They are dying anyway so let them get on with it and use the £60k on the LIVING.

When your mum and dad grow old and contract cancer you'll be wanting them to receive the best treatment the NHS can give.

Nope. Dad is dead and Mum is 90. If she gets cancer at that age then let her die. Me too. You too. That's the way the future MUST be. We are bust. The whole world is bust. Too many people and too few resources. If you have the means to pay privately then fine - you do that. Otherwise just go.

Isn't it great when lifes more complex issues can be resolved by a simple statement.
It takes a special sort of person to find these simple solutions.

A simpleton. Joe-90, it seems you are that man. Congratulations.

All issues eventually come down to 'yes' or 'no'. The UK is bust - that's just a fact, not my opinion. Simples.

And here's me thinking the thread was about oldtimers and pills.

In one simple post, you move it to economics.

Now, simple answer, yes or no. This daughter of yours, goes down with a potentially life threatening disease that requires an extensive course of expensive medication.

Give us your simple answer. Should she have it?

Yes or no.

A more relevant question to joe would be...how much has it cost the NHS to get your mum to her venerable age?

Yes, while she's young. When she's in her 80s - then no.

Virtually nothing. Never been inside a hospital.
