Possible Speeding Ticket

Send you to court even if you plead guilty?

Looking at their recommendations I was speeding between 35-42, first offense, not been on awarenes course before.

If they wish to, but it's probably not going to happen.
Just send back the form and see what they do before you worry about anything you may not need to.

And you were not even offered a Speeding Awareness Course. Seems a bit harsh.

Why 3 points won't make too much difference to anything. Besides you have to pay for your speed awareness course, which with authorities sense of humour is £100

I thought that too. It was in Wales and I tried to appeal but they were totally robotic, just like Rochdale Council whenever I have to deal with them.

Sometimes I feel the country is against the people.

You didn't miss out on much they are extremely boring

I never pay parking charges, ever, but speeding fines are a little difficult because the DVLA are total scum, and the powers they have over your car basically mean they own it. Ask yourself whether it's really worth energy contesting it. If you've got the balls you could win it by out playing them at their own game but the dvla are a state powered extortion racket, one of your trump cards would be evasion, but it's far too complicated to get into just like that.

Mostly all councils are using bulk centres now to issue fraudulent warrants and court summons/fines. They are worthless garbage and can be completely ignored, not paid a parking ticket in years.

Yeah, I've never done one but other half did. Came home in a foul mood and said next time 3 points would be less painful!

Well it looks like the camera works both ways. I have just received an NIP

checked on Streetview it has the black lines only in the oncoming direction. It is the old Truvelo

Something's not quite right there then! Either the black lines were added since the Streetview image (i.e. after re-surfacing) you looked up, OR, the camera wasn't actually the early Truvelo camera from 1999. Sorry for any false hope I may have given you in the mean time!

This is the Type Approval from the government for the 'Truvelo Combi smc' camera(i.e. the early one). They are literally not allowed to work without the black lines in the road. I'd guess it was a newer type of Truvelo, like @sodthisforfun mentioned on Sunday.

Here's the manual for the camera if you don't believe me!!
