So you think asylum seekers should be someone else's problem? Just not that of the UK?
This is my last comment to you on this cause it's evident we'll never agree and I can't be bothered with backwards and forwards 1000 times, gets boring.
Some people in the UK don't see a problem with people coming across from France in dingies. Some do, for a whole load of reasons. I'm in the latter camp.
Some people give the impression they'd be happy with any (unlimited) number of people coming into our country this way. Heck, the more the merrier, we should be aiming to be TOP of all those tables that show who's taking who. Some people don't agree with this. I'm in the latter camp.
It's interesting that people say things like 'they traverse three or four countries to get here to be with their family.' In some cases that may indeed be true, so where does that end? We have family member A coming in. Then B comes in cause they're related to A. Then C comes in cause they're related to B. And so on.
How should they get in to the UK? Once they've fled their war-torn country or other tragic situation, apply from the first country that's given you refuge and wait to see if your application is successful.
Btw, you know diddly squat about me. You base your perceptions on the things I type on this forum. Take some time and go through my posts over the years and see how many you can find that are filled with hate and 'isms.' Yes, I post my thoughts on various things and those thoughts don't always fit with the left wing narrative. However that doesn't make me the horrific person you're trying to paint me as.
This is the (very) sad situation we're in these days in the UK. If you don't align with various narratives (like JK Rowling on the trans stuff) you immediately get labelled in some shape or form.
I think we should leave the country in the control of the extreme left wingers ... it will be very interesting to see the state it's in a decade later if not before.
