That explains a lot...

Do you avoid concerts, sports events, public transport etc?

If appropriate, yes...

And I've retained the courtesy of shaking a person's hand and did so throughout...

For a known contagious serious illness, then obviously yes...

But being paranoid over a possible threat - no!

If you have young children/grandchildren, do you avoid hugging them during the winter cold season?

And as for that 'test over generations', have you ever heard about 'chicken pox parties'?
They still go on albeit less so nowadays btw!
That's all rubbish.

1, there weren't many public events at the outbreak of the virus.

2. I shake hands when it's right to do so. At 1 point it was common sense not to do so. People with common sense knew that and avoided contact like that.

3. It was a known contagious virus with no known outcomes at the time. Hindsight wasn't available at the time.

4. At the height of the virus they were in my close circle, and still are. Whats changed ?

5 chicken pox is a known condition. Doesn't compare to an unknown condition.

You really are struggling trying to justify your blindness to reality.

Distance is and was the simplest safest action you would have taken as an individual, with no instruction or advice needed from anybody

No you've swerved and avoided it.

Is distance a good idea or a bad idea? No ifs buts and maybes this time.

Just try it.
PMSL...

I've answered your question more than once, but you just don't like that answer...

You on the other hand won't answer simple questions such as with regards to public gatherings now or giving a hug to kids in your family...

Or tell us what you believe to be an appropriate distance...

My advice to you is to get over your paranoia and enjoy life as it is, not what you fear it to be :)

I keep a bit of distance from people I don't know, mainly because once you realise they have poor personal hygiene, and/or breath that would knock a fly off a bucket of shoite, it's already too late to stop the gag reflex
It's like an everyday common sense step

But why do jab junkies have a problem with human contact, because after all they have had their magic potions that they have been told will protect them
The covid vaccine protected millions from serious illness.
That’s just a fact

It’s best keeping at least 2 metres from anti vaxxers, that way us sensible people won’t subjected to endless nonsense.

Ain't that the truth

As does the flu...

Do you keep a distance from anyone with a sniffle?
You are a really boring conspiracy theorist that goes around and around endlessly repeating falsehoods.

You have a serious psychological problem, you need to go away and fix it.

The covid waves of March 2020 and Jan 2021 were far more dangerous than flu
Social distancing was introduced because vaccines weren’t available / weren’t rolled out.

Oh ffs you truly are very thick...

So just for you here goes again...

Distance is good for a known and serious threat...

Otherwise distance is just a comfort blanket for paranoid people like yourself who don't want to acknowledge that disease is all around us...

Paranoid people who don't understand how the immune system works!

Precisely. The antivaxxers are obsessed with the fact that vast majority have been vaccinated and carry on with their lives as normal.

You don't want it then don't have it. Let it go, you'll feel better for it.
