Expanded ULEZ

Evidence from other parts of the country show there isn't a "Muslim vote". Look here at Rochdale where the Tories have tried several times with a Muslim candidate without getting anywhere.

The same happened when they tried a male Muslim candidate. In fact, he only got about half as many votes as the female one.

How about this in Bradford? A female Muslim MP got 76% of the vote. The male Muslim Tory got fewer votes than the male non-Muslim Tory who stood at the previous election.

Why is he called 10p Lee? I don’t know much about him other than he’s northern
30p Lee.

He said that you could make a portion of hot dinner for 30p.

At the time he blurted this, I proved you could just about make a portion of dinner for 30p if you made a pasta Bolognese using the cheapest pasta at Aldi and a jar of the cheapest sauce then using half a pack of red lentils instead of meat.

The current price of this divided by 4 would be 35p.

Really, you need more sauce between 4, but obviously that would inflate the price. Even if you swapped out the ready made sauce for onions, herbs and tinned toms, it would be more.

So basically, 30p Lee is talking out of his rrrrrs.

Almost as if some of the Tory voters in that constituency wouldn't vote for a Muslim.

Perhaps they are anti-Semitic

Or racist

Or Islamophobe

Another way to raise money for London would be getting foreign embassies to pay their parking fines...

A freedom of information release by Transport for London (TfL), responsible for the transport network in the city, found that the American embassy had accumulated debts of £14.6 million over 20 years, when the capital's congestion charge was brought in,, the most of any embassy in the U.K. capital, official figures show. (@VOX.com) The Japanese Embassy was second on the list, owing more than £10 million, while the Indian High Commission owed £8.5 million. Among all embassies, the total unpaid figure from 2003 to December last year was £143.5 million.

...a spokesman at the American Embassy says they're exempt according to the 1961 Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations but London transport retorts "the congestion charge is a charge for a service and not a tax. This means that diplomats are not exempt from paying it."

What’s Khan doing about collecting those service charges?
He rubs shoulders (and more) with those yanks.
He'll never get a penny out of them and won't even ask for it.
As long as us c#nts pay into his pocket, he doesn't give a shyt about anything else.
For the first time in my life I've been thinking of leaving London before it becomes a favelas and my house is worth nothing.

The lezzer zone in Bristol is quite small and easily avoided for normal, day to day trips around town. Though how good it is for the environment when I regularly drive an extra 12 miles to skirt around it to get to the airport is anyone's guess. Must be thousands of cars each day doing extra miles to skirt around and avoid the £9 charge. Anyway, I digress. Since The Greens are now in charge of City Council, I'm guessing it's only a matter of time before the zone gets a big expansion.

It can’t be both a service and enforceable beyond the statutory time limit. He has to pick which one to argue.
