    "Heritage Asset" definition

I'm not looking to use permitted development rights. Would definitely go through planning. My council seem to ignore any correspondence unless through a formal application .. All I'm trying to establish is whether my house is a heritage asset but this seems impossible. :/

    "Heritage Asset" definition

I'm allowed to build a roof extension as long as my house isn't classed as a heritage asset. I'm therefore trying to establish whether my house is a heritage asset. It's not a listed building nor is it on the local list of non-designated heritage buildings. It is however in a conservation area...

    "Heritage Asset" definition

Thanks Nakajo. I've just checked the local list on my local council website and my house is not in it. It is also not a nationally listed building. Even if it sits within a conservation area, does that mean it is not considered a "heritage asset" ? Thanks for your help. Much appreciated.

Change of layout - Drawings for Building Regs

Thanks for your help on this. By no structural alterations to walls, does this include internal walls? Because pretty much all the internal walls will be removed and replaced with new ones in different locations. They are not structural walls though.

Change of layout - Drawings for Building Regs

Yes. I could do this (see attached) but would still need building regs for change of layout. Unless you know different?

Change of layout - Drawings for Building Regs

Hi all New to this and in need of some advice. I'm currently looking at converting my flat as per the attached plans. I've got provisional OK from my building control company providing I use a sprinkler system to mitigate fire risk of creating inner rooms. I now need to start looking...

Saniflo macerator toilet - only toilet in flat

Hi I'm currently changing the layout of my flat. The work would be a lot easier if I could install a saniflo macerator toilet as the main and only toilet in the flat. Sadly this isn't permissible in terms of building regs. Is there any way to overcome this ? Thanks
