Yes the dimmer does buzz. I have tried different dimmers and the noise is still there.

I have just fitted 7no low voltage 50 watt lights in my lounge ceiling. They are controlled by a dimmer switch. When the lights are on fully, no noise from the MCB, when i dim them there is a buzzing noise at the MCB that the lights are on. I have double checked all connections and...

I have a Sony Vaio laptop. Some of the letters on the keyboard dont register on the screen unless you press them 5 or 6 times. Also the Q has a life of its own it just runs across the page as if i am holdng it down. Before i spend a fortnune on a new keypad has anyone else had this problem...

I must be a one off, but i think the CXI is a great condensing boiler. Never had the problems that you describe. But very easy to work on and replace parts if required. I know there have been issues with the condensate traps and the filling loops but tell me a boiler without any problems...

Buy a quality condensing boiler like the glowworm CXI or the Vailant Ecomax or Worcester Bosch a lot more than what your budget is but in the long run cheaper.

Do not put that particular boiler in it is crap, you are best going for a glowworm 35 CXI or a worcester condenser. Every boiler has its faults but for performance and quality stick with either of them.

If you check the manufactures instructiojns you will find that it is 5 amp, but 3 will do. Nobody likes a smart arse.

You probably have a blockage in the pipe leading to the expansion vess. This would cause the system to over pressurise as it is doing and also the press in the exp vess would still have .5 to 1 bar. Probably blocked with iron oxide deposits, they usually are.

It makes me laugh when people like him say they are competent and doing no harm. We all have to spend a small fortune on getting qualified and registering with corgi and make ourselves accountable in case we cock up.

It is RIDDOR reportable for anyone qualified or unqualified to bypass a safety device on a gas appliance. I would be very careful if i were you.
