    Just to let any one know who may be interested, the rubber seal inside boiler to flue was split and the noise and movement was due to baffling.

    Had it installed couple of weeks ago. Everything fine until today. It is sort of bumping and you can actually see the sides and front move very slightly like a heart beat. The flame seems to flick each time this happens. Any ideas :roll:

    vented-condensing

    Hi all I have always had a vented tumble dryer and am due to replace it shortly. I have heard of condensing dryers - are they cheaper to run and do they work as well as a vented. How often do you need to empty water from them. Any help appreciated. Thanks

    I am having a new kitchen fitted. I want to use the klick lok tile effect laminate boards for the floor. The fitter has said that it is best to lay this after the kitchen is fitted. He will leave the bottom plinths or whatever they are called off and I lay the floor so it fits approx 1 inch...

    Hi thanks for replying. It is not a straight crack. I have purchaseed some of the emulsion that you speak of and I will give it a try. Maybe I could just use it on the crack line itself and not the rest of ceiling. :D

    My kitchen ceiling has just been skimmed flat. Prob is that most of the ceiling had a grey colour plaster already on it. A small area was just the original ceiling board. But between the two of these was a large crack and a small hole. The plasterer filled made good then skimmed over entire...

    I am debating on having a textured laminate oak colour floor in bedroom and dining room. Do you need to change skirting to match colour or does white skirting look ok. I cant find any pics of rooms to compare. Thanks :?

    condensing flue cover

    where can i get/buy a gargoyle/dragon head or something similar to cover my flue so when it steaming it comes out of nose eyes and mouth hole of gargoyle. If this steam comes into open windows of my house as in bathroom and kitchen is it safe? :?

    Next to my fire place I have found two pipes which run up to ceiling they are boxed in with a small door at bottom. I have gas central heating so i am assuming that these are not required anymore. Is it possible to have them removed so I can gain space right up to the side of chimney...
