Hi,

I am considering a new Nest thermostat to replace my old Drayton RF1 to go with my Worcester 25i (this currently runs a really basic dip switch wheel timer).

Will I be able to just put the Nest in place of the RF1? or is it more involved because of the manual timer on the boiler? If so, what do I need?

Thanks

The Digistat RF1 is a wireless thermostat and is used in conjunction with a receiver, usually an SCR like this.

If so, the Nest replaces the SCR and it's simply a matter of leaving the boilers heating time controls to be permanently 'on' 24/7 allowing the Nest to take control
