I've moved into a new house that has central heating with a Drayton (branded as British Gas) RF1 wireless Room Thermostat. It's been tempramental for a few months but now I just can't the remote to communicate with the combi boiler.
The remote looks like it's working. It gives the current room temperate and you can set the desired temp, asking for heat, but the combi won't kick in. I've borrowed a friends Drayton remote and that works fine. I've tried different batteries
Any ideas what could be wrong?
If it's shot, what can I replace it with? It seems the Drayton RF1 wireless has been discontinued. Does anyone know of where I can get one, or what sort of remote would work with the current reciever?
