Hi
The hose alarm back up battery has corroded at the terminal (15+ years old) so i'm looking to replace it.
The current battery spec is 12V2.4AH but looking online all i can find are 2.1AH and 2.3AH - will these work ok?

Thanks

Yes larger the Ah... longer backup time. They are still 12v. Just check dimensions are the same you will be fine.

Certain control panels will only allow certain size batteries to fit inside the panel.
As muzzy says measure the battery
Old 1.9 batts are now 2.1
2.6 are now 2.8
6.0 are now 7.0 and so on
What is your control panel ?

remember that size (space inside the panel) is key as to what can physically fit. (its important, mentioned more than once in this thread already).

Also some panels may have room for larger batteries but it may not be required due to the load its using.
