Took a couple of hours to find the fault.
Anyone like to guess how long it took for the fault to show up (RCD tripping) from original installation.?

Suprised me!

Nice.

You've just discovered it (2008) wired in Beautiful British (Al Murray voice) old colours (not that thats everything to go by) so say 2004, thats at least 4 years, allthough it depends on when the circuit was put on RCD...

I love it when kitchen fitters put screws through 10mm phase conductors, then again that'll teach the spark from 20 years ago to wire outside the zones!

True, in an old installation at least. I've got a load of 10mm in the garage that I use if I do a shower or cooker supply in an old colours installation.

Hmm.
I think the point has been missed.

The wiring was installed about 7 years ago and screw would have been driven in a month or so later.

Just an example of expansion and contraction
