boiler in loft

hi. ive been asked to do agas check. boiler is in loft. combi. does it need fire protection? boxed in? or something. im asking because the lady bought the flat 2 years and was told it needs fire protection?? ive never heard of this. i assume if it requires but doesmnt have then its ncs? appreciate advice on this

Boiler requires correct access and egress to it, permenant lighting, a guardrail around the loft hatch and the boiler itself to protect it from storage items, work space area provided...... if pipes pass through the ceiling then basic core gas safety information should be provided if required. etc etc etc

If boiler needs ventilation then that should be checked, flue checked etc,

You'll once in 100 jobs find all this though :eek:
This should be posted in the combustion chamber really
