Hi All,

I'm looking to build a brick/block shed in the garden. There is one thing i'm not to sure about.

If i wanted to make a 1m long wall for example and i used 215mm brick, i would do as below.

215mm + 10mm + 215mm + 10mm + 215mm + 10mm + 215mm = 890mm (0.89m not 1metre)

If i add a aditional brick with 10mm motar gap, it goes over to 1115mm (1.1m)

Isit a case of going above or below a metre to get a full brick look?

thanks

Yes, if it's square any you turn the corner with a full one it would give you 1mtr.

Just make the joints bigger - you always have a big joint @ Christmas:whistle:
