Boiler fires for about 15 sec then locks out and led3 flashes my first thoughts are detection electrode any thoughts ?

LED 3 is a sensor harness fault.
Hiya bomb,
Could be the hot surface ignitor not recognising flame so board thinks theres a fault and drops out, could be the burner not cross lighting to pilot burner so no detection being sensed. Could be the sensors which are a pain in the arrrse to. RGI time me thinks

A friend has exactly the same fault. Have you got the part number please just so i can make sure I order the right one? Thanks.
