BT Master Socket Phoneline Wiring.

As you can probably tell from the confused title, I don't even know what you call the bloody thing. Anyway had to move the surface mounted phone box from the window sill to paint the sill. Unscrewed it all and at some time there must have been some moisture in there and the wires have all broken off. It's the master(?) phone line to the house, the first one connected from the cable that inters the house, so does anyone know what goes where? I have 1 black, 1 orange, 1 green, 1 white and 3 yellows and the terminals read A, B & E. I will post a photo of what I've got, if needed. Thanks in advance.

The box is called a master socket or nte....put the wite wire on terminal A and the orange wire on terminal B ....green and black is for a 2nd line if you ever needed one so these dont get connected and the three yellow ones are strenghthening wires and are not to be connected to anything
 
Thank you very much for such a quick response. It's been doing my bloody head in. I said to my wife that it would probably end up that there were only two wires needed, but I didn't know which two. I owe you a pint.
