Hi, I wonder if somebody could help me?

Just been given an electronic carbon monoxide detecter, but with no instructions whatsover. Only that if the display remains at 0 (zero), then all is OK.

My question is: Where do I put it up in the house?... I was told not to put it too close to the boiler itself. The boilers located in the kitchen.

Any replies would be appreciated.
Many thanks

acording to the instructions on our detector, put it anywhere. carbon Monoxide is as lickly to be at the cieling as the floor. I put ours near the gas fire but not so it got too hot.... usualy pushing the button for a time sets the alarm off for a test, just to make sure its working.
