I have a problem with my Baxi 80e combi, it has an intermittent fault in that it stops working with the light flashing for a fault on the fan or flue. There is nothing wrong with either, sometimes the power to the fan wavers, I think it is a fault in the PCB as everything else is working OK. Would I be right ?

Perhaps fan is on its way out and fails to start sometimes?
Or air pressure switch at fault.

To 45yearsagasman, I tested the the fan and inspected the flue, the flue is absolutely clear and the fan works perfectly with a separate power supply.
The boiler works perfectly sometimes for hours on end (CH and HW) and then it will stop and the flue/fan fault light will flash. Other times it operate only for a short period.
