Central heating not coming on own have to put hot water on

Hi all
My central heating is not coming on have a new worcester greenstar condensing boiler and had engineer out in April to sort out small prob ( heating wasn't turning off - was a faulty valve)now when turning ch on it needs a push from hot water 1st any suggestions. also banging like mad when ch comes on for about 2mins or so. have microbeeding pipes which we gonna change next summer. any suggestions would be great. we off on hols next weekend

Was the system flushed properly when the boiler was fitted ? Banging noise could be the pump or the water boiling up, also sounds like the diverter valves sticking. You need to get a boiler engineer in front of it for a proper diagnosis.
