a few days ago I had a small issue where only my HW was working. I have had a similar problems years ago in a previous house and resolved by getting the 3 port valve changed. As this was Friday night and i wasnt going to be changing the valve straight away i manually moved the small pin on the valve to open and this has temporarily solved my problem. However, when the valve is open my boiler runs continuously even though HW and CH are both off on programmer and thermostat is on 5. I dont remember this happening last time but I may be wrong. Any advice on the matter would be highly appreciated.
