I have a house where the chimney top has already been removed. The house is a semi detached and the chimney is along the external walls of the property.
The chimney can be seen on the external wall. It seems half of it is inside the house, and the other half on the outside. So basically the external wall is not flat, it protrudes out all the way up to the roof, although there is no chimney top on the roof.
The upstairs chimney's have already been taken out.
If I remove the downstairs chimneys will any support be required?
