What software do you guys use/find the easiest to draw up wiring diagrams?

I'm trying to put my file together for college and could do with tidying up my diagrams. I'd prefer to be able to knock them up on a PC than have to start from scratch every time I cock up.

I use Microsoft Publisher for my circuit designs.

I'm sure I've got a copy of Visio somewhere, I just never knew what the software was for.

I downloaded the freeware one from that link you provided to the older thread. Diagram Designer I think it was called. Really good. Dead straight forward and allows you to create your own frequent use templates. I knocked up about 12 basic lighting variations in about an hour. Only issue I found with it was the lack of function to straighten everything out on the screen so all the lines are straight etc.... Petty I know, but I'm anal like that. Otherwise......

Happy customer!! :D

I've never used it, nor do I know if you've RTFM'd and found that it won't, but have you tried holding down the shift key while moving the mouse? It's not only PowerPoint which uses that to keep your lines vertical or horizontal as long as you move the mouse roughly V or H...
