Door Lining

Hi,

I am going to be putting up a stud wall and cant seem to find a suitable door liner.

I will be using 50mm metal stud and track with 1 layer of 12.5mm wallboard either side.

I cant seem to find a 75mm-80mm door liner should I change the stud sizes?

You would normally use wider stud work, the narrow stuffs for other applications.

Thanks for the reply. I could use 70mm stud and track but that will leave me 95mm overall even with a skim either side that is going to take me to approx 100mm. Still cannot find Door liners with that width.

Decided to go with a 70mm metal stud with 1 layer of 9.5mm either side and then get some timber from B&Q - 2100x94x18mm and make a door frame from that.
