Hello,

We're looking to put new floor in the kitchen, but dno't know anything about it.

It's currently cheap wood laminate laid on top of lino it seems. I like the look of tiles, but not the cold feel of them, so thinking about vinyl tiles. Are they suitable for kitchens? Are there any health points to consider? Are they difficult to lay (it's only a small kitchen)? What sort of underlay do they require? Is there anywhere I can read up about different types of kitchen flooring and how to lay them?

Hope you can help

Thanks.

Bonus question:

We've also got new worktops which we're getting someone in to install. Do we do floor first or after?
